This is a great looking estate sale find AND HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THIS OLD UNTILL I GOT IT HOME. SHOWS PATENT DATE JUNE 13 1882. Sadly all is not perfect so read all. The clock is heavy wood case 15 x 12 x 6. The dial says mermod and something jewelry co st louis but after google searchs i did find. However the brass movement in side has ansonia on it so i assume the dial says who ansonia made the clock for. The clock is untested but may work i just do not know so better i sell this as a parts or repair sale. No key or pendulum but the chime sound good when hammer is done by hand and when you move the pendulun arm the small gear inside does turn. There is one poor repair done on this and that was the hinge for the glass dial cover it is too big and it does for sure show up as a non original repair.
