TALL WOOD ARMOIRE VINTAGE JEWELRY BOX CASE ETCHED GLASS 3 DRAWER 2 CAROUSEL 22. Up for your consideration is this Beautiful Vintage Wood Jewelry Box with Etched Glass. This absolutely gorgeous 22 tall jewelry armoire features a nice dark wood finish and perfectly lined with pink felt throughout. The glass on the doors have a delicate floral design etched into the glass and the inside is mirrored in the back. On the top of the inside compartment there are 2 necklace carousels that spin allowing you to find what you are looking for easily. At the bottom are 4 rectangular felt lined compartments that measure just over 4″ x 2-1/2″ which you could use for bracelets, watches, or brooches. To the left is a 4-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ area with ring pads that will hold at least 16 rings, maybe more. The bottom of the box houses 3 large felt lined drawers that measure 12″ wide x 4″ front to back x just under 2 deep. As you can see in the pictures this box has very nice ornate handles. The ones on the doors dangle and the ones on the drawers swing out in order to get a good grip and slide the drawer open easily. They even have little round pads on the back so when you let go it won’t damage the finish when it swings back. It appears that this was once mounted to a wall so the original alligator hangers on the back have been removed and they are NOT included. There are also holes in the back near the bottom that remain from the previous mounting. Overall this is an amazing jewelry box in excellent vintage condition and you usually don’t see ones like this that stand almost 2 feet tall. However, as can be seen in the pictures, the rear center compartment in the main section has several tiny spots that appear to be from a marker as well as a small spot near the center of the top drawer. The only other mentionable is that the felt lining inside the main compartment on the right and left side wall have both started to lift a bit and there are a couple areas where you can push against it and there is bit of a gap behind it. Both are still firmly attached and won’t fall off, but we wanted to mention. Aside from that this is in otherwise excellent condition. The finish is nice, there are no dings or dents and all 3 glass panels are perfect. All the drawers and doors line up and close properly.
