We are offering for sale a Highly Collectible Set of 2 Vintage Chinese Cork Sculptures. This is a matched set of 2 hand carved cork sculptures, featuring Chinese men, with walking sticks and landscape foliage details. Very intricate carving work. Sculptures are encased in glass and lacquered wood boxes with pedestal feet. Made in The People’s Republic of China. They each measure 8 1/2″high x 4 1/2″ wide x 3 1/2 deep and are in VERY GOOD Condition, with the only notable damage being a small crack in the glass case of each in the bottom corner of the cases in the back… Barely noticable from the front of the sculptures, and a few surface scratches to the laquered wood from age and use… These pieces carry the makers marks and country of origin stickers on the bases.
