Antique Junghans Bracket Clock w/ Inlaid Wood Case B07 Westminster Chimes – Running Striking & Chimin g. Would make a great gift or keep it for yourself! Very unique and uncommon inlaid wood Junghans clock case here. The clock probably dates to the 1908 to 1915 period. Nice design below the clock face that carries thru lines that go around the perimeter of the face. Then check out the beautiful curved top on the clock. The case is all intact, no missing pieces. Some minor finish loss to the case, most noticeably on the left base of the case. The rear wood door is split in a couple of places and needs attention, so that it will snugly latch in place again. The 4 wood feet are also still in place on the clock case. Beautiful mahogany case on this clock. The clock face is silver with black numbers. Some loss of finish around the wind holes. The bezel is securely attached to the case by the hinge. The concave glass in the bezel is intact, no cracking or blistering. The movement looks good. The time spring is wound tight. The chime and strike springs both feel sound when keyed. The movement was quite dirty and will need a good cleaning and servicing. The clock comes with what appears to be the appropriate pendulum. The clock movement was tanked, cleaned, and serviced by Clock Doc and is in running and striking condition. The first two pics of the movement are after it was cleaned. The clock will come with a wind key. The clock has a Westminster Chime’s unit. The clock chimes every 15 minutes, and then chime and strikes on the hour. This is a five rod chime/strike unit. The Junghans Clock stands 16″ tall, by 11.5″ across, by 7 wide. Let us know if you have any questions or need additional pictures.
