This thermometer is specially made for the bathtub with Dr. Forbes Specifications for water temperature listed on the back. It has a heavy patina on the handle and the upper area of the case, the lower part has patina but it isn’t as heavy. In total it measures 9 3/4 inches long. It’s not quite square the front and back is 1 1/16 inch by 15/16 inch. Antique vintage barn fresh condition. The glass is dirty but is unbroken. The wooden case shows years of use with a heavy patina on the handle. The leather strap that would have been used for hanging is missing.
