The Case Measures Approx. 14.5 L x 9 3/4 W and 6 Tall. Its in Good Condition! It does show some age. There is wear of the Wood : Some Dings and Scratches and Some Dust. Also there is some wear of the graphics on the top. The Reverse Painting Boston Garter on the Front Glass is in Great Shape all intact and visible. The words Trade Mark are worn. The sides also have removable glass panels. They are clear and have no graphic. The Hinges are working well not sure if they are original or replaced The chain is in place to hold the box open. Inside the lid there is a notice of warning label not to use the display with products other Boston Garter. This is a Fabulous old case. Thank you for looking! Antique Early 20th Century Violet Ray Vitalator with Glass Fixtures Wood Casing. This is Antique Early 20th Century Violet Ray Vitalator with Glass Fixtures Wood Casing. This an excellent piece of medical history. These were around in the early 20th century after being invented in the late 19th century. This particular Violet Ray was made by Ideal Home Electrical Appliances on Great Ormond Street, London. These were claimed to cure many ailments at the time. This Vitalator comes with four glass, shaped attachments, which slot into the Bakelite handle. This had a low current running through it, which was then stroked across the body in different areas. There are three dial knobs, which are intact and in excellent condition. These are also made from Bakelite. There is a metal plaque, which reads: VIOLET RAY, VITALATOR, THE WORLDS GREATEST REJUVENATOR. The power cables are intact. The casing is made from wood, which has acquired a stunning patina through time. This enhances the appearance of the case. The lid is hinged and has a metal clasp fastener. There is a leather handle to the front of the case, which is intact at one end. Height: 18.5cm (7 3/4). Width: 26cm (10 1/4). If you have any questions please let me know. A Japanese Musha Ningyo early Taisho Period Samurai doll in a wood and glass display case. The case measures approximately 15.25″ tall x 8.75″ x 6-5/8 deep. The figure is dressed in robes and appears to have glass eyes. There appears to be minor damage to the top of the bird, and some dust, discoloring on the inside base and some fading and discoloring to the wood case. Early 1900 beveled glass case which holds 3 California mounted quail view pictures. Case has a litho background which is a setting scenery behind the quail. Frame is ornate consisting of plaster, wood with painted gold around each end of the frame. Frame is in great condition few small pieces are missing, which are not noticeable. Schwarz Taxademy is the oldest taxidermy operations in the US. Chwarz Taxademy studio is famous for mountings STL (Phil the gorilla) as well as other mountings for the STLO zoo, A-Busch, and other educational agencies. The frame is unusually constructed w. Ith a square box on the rear which hold the quail and a very ornate frame and metal trim that surround the beveled glass. Case measures approximately from end of frame to end of frame 26 1/2 inches in height by 36 inches in width/length. This is one of a kind of taxidermist mounting and frame, a great piece for any collection or museum.
