The wood is stained, then top-coated (twice) with a clear conversion varnish which meets all environmental regulations. Overall inside dimensions of this box are approximately 15″ wide x 15-1/4″ deep x 7 high. Comes with a hinged lid and a magnetic catch for the lid. There is also a viewing glass built into both the side panels, as well as the front panel. Although the cherry case pictured in this listing has a viewing glass built into the lid itself, our standard hat boxes do not (see the’group’ photo). The inside bottom (or floor) of this case comes standard with black felt. Other felt-color options are Hunter Green, Navy Blue, Wine Red, and Saddle Gray.
