18th Century Georgian Decanter Set Original Bottles & Glasses Mahogany Case
This 18th century Georgian decanter set comes with original bottles and glasses, all housed in a beautiful mahogany case. The set includes decanters made of clear glass, and decorated with gold design. The glasses are also made of glass and the set is believed to be handmade by an unknown maker from the United Kingdom. This collectible barware set has a classic style and dates back to the pre-1800s. It’s a unique piece of history that would make a great addition to any collection. The set was originally made in England and has been well-preserved over time. Please pictures for defects which include chips to and cracks to mahogany case. The case is also missing 2 legs and does not come with original key. All but one decanter is in excellent shape. One decanter has a chip at the top.

Beautiful 19th century mahogany liquor casket, most likely French, with brass inlay and gilt accents on the outside. Front panel is hinged onto front edge of lid folds back and hangs when the lid is opened. There is a lock but the key is missing. Side panels (6 by 6 inches fold out) and glasses can be removed from the outside, or the entire rack with decanters and glasses can be lifted out using center brass handle; design on handle is repeated in gilt on the front and lid. Three decanters (one missing), about 6 1/2 inches high, with ground pontils. Hand-blown pinched-waist cordial glasses are about 3 inches tall with square feet. There are spaces for 16 glasses (8 on each side), 5 are missing. Believe the glassware to be made by Baccarat based on old catalog pictures. Overall 13 inches wide, 9 1/2 inches deep, and 10 inches high. In good condition, besides the missing glassware some of the brass inlay is loose and there are number of scratches to the finish — see pictures.

Frosted Decanter & 2 Wine Glasses, Wood Display Case, ARC Slovenia, Polar Bear. I believe this is a very rare item, possibly even one-of-a-kind, it’s also a mystery. It is a ARC Slovenia Frosted Decanter with a Polar Bear on 2 of the 4 sides. It does not have a stopper. It comes with 2 glasses, likely wine glasses, also frosted with a polar bear on each glass. These 3 items all fit perfectly into a wooden display case. It is a perfect match for the size of the glassware. The mystery is whether or not it was bought this way or if someone over the years, built it to fit. It is blue in color, just slightly lighter than navy blue. The size of the display case is 14 1/2″ tall, 8 3/8″ wide, and ranges in depth from 3 1/2″ to 4 1/4″ deep. The decanter is 10″ tall, 4″ across at the base, and 2 across the top. The glasses are 6 3/4″ tall and 2 1/2″ across at the top. All of the pieces are in great condition. No one in my family has any idea how old these items are or where they were obtained. Either way this makes a statement and would look good on a bar, in a lodge, or in a cabin. They remind me of the polar bears in northern Canada.
