Card case top hinge is broken so the lid is free from the base. There is also cracks in the wood. Case top wood plaque is mostly broken loose from the main case, except for one small portion that is still attached. Clasp and hinge work good. Both also have some spots on the wood have worn through the stain and have paler colored spots. Card case measures4″ x 2 7/8″ x 1 1/2. Case measures 5 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ x 1/2. I don’t actually know if these are card or glasses case, they definitely wouldn’t fit a regular deck of cards or modern glasses however maybe they were designed for antique classes that were much smaller?
