It is in good condition with light antique wear including some scrapes behind the glass. Good brass frame in wood case. Lovely red velvet inside cover in very good condition. This piece is heavier than most so we checked what was behind the brass frame, and noticed the glass was thicker than most. Case measures approx 2.75″ x 2 3/8″. Unfortunately, as we handled it to photo, the fabric hinge split. So the front and backs are detached but included. Some wear to the black surface. Undated, likely civil war era.
