Antique Wood General Store Counter Display Case Box For Watches Beveled Glass. Open to reasonable offers. My father picked this up on one of his antiquing trips a long time ago. I will try and describe this to the best of my abilities. This wood counter top case could have been used to display pocket watches or some other quality merchandise – so mething that would fit in the 1 3/4″ by 1 1/4″ rectangular spots. This is a quality made showcase. The front drawer is for decoration purposes only and is missing its two pulls / knobs. I believe the glass top is original and it is beveled. The case itself sits at an angle. The measurements from tallest to shortest on the height – approx. It is 13 1/2″ wide and 9 1/2″ deep. The top display drawer is (interior measurement) just under 11″ by 7 3/4″ and maybe 3/4 deep. The second drawer is (interior again) just under 11″ by 7 3/4″ and 1 3/4″ at the back, at the lowest, to 3″. Some of the corners are dovetailed and some are nailed at flat planes.
