Beautiful 1800s Hand Painted Fan Gold Gilding in Wood/Glass Case

Fan features 5 ladies and 2 gentleman in a garden scene with vivid colors and generous hand painted gold gilding, see pictures. Fan is approximately 19 1/2 x 10 inches. Fan made in France? Blades are pierced, hand painted, dark gray (might be tarnished silver) with underlying gold gilding. You can enlarge the pics to see example on the 3rd blade from the right hand shoulder and the 2nd blade from the left. Gold Gilded wood case made in Italy is in very good condition, back is updated. Stamped Made in Italy on back of wood case. Wood case with gold gilding, enclosed with glass. Wood case is approximately 26 x 16 x 2 inches. Fan has patch, left center lower where it meets 7th blade from the left. The two right hand panels and first left hand panel show wear from being folded when it used many years ago.

Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this lovely little hand made in England tilt top oak side table with glass cased hand painted picture. A good looking and well-made piece, the pictures has been refitted at the wrong angle which can be realigned prior to dispatch, the idea being that when the table is folded it sits in a corner and looks like a normal painting, at the moment its sideways. The timber has been cleaned waxed and polished, the glass removed and cleaned. Height:- 49.5cm. C1850 cased set of 12 hand painted magic lantern slides – 48 animals. A handsome set of twelve large magic lantern slides dating to the mid 19th century. Each has four images on it of birds and animals and measured approximately 14.25 x 4 inches, (36 x 10 cms). Supplied in their original wooden case. Antique Regulator wall clock case for restoration or repurpose. In very good condition and retains original top portion of reverse painted glass as shown. Still has chime coil and brass pendulum swing plate. Also retains original bottom carved medallion rosette. Measures 38.5″ tall x 17.5″ wide x 6 deep at crown. One small piece of bottom glass frame at top is cracked but still in place. Unsure (but don’t think) back boards to be original. Would also make a great display case. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
